Chilly HNT

Happy Thursday! Yes, it's that time again, kids:

My plans for HNT last night were foiled by a set of dead batteries, so I was forced to improvise. I wasn't about to go out at 10:30 pm in a snow storm to buy batteries.

So for this week's submission, I give you...

My nekkid foot in the snow! Yeeeeee! Brrrrr.

Yep, I'm training for the polar bear club, one appendage at a time. lol

We had what I would refer to as our first big snow last night. 5" - not BIG, but significant enough to make the majority of drivers on the roads turn into complete morons.

Yay for webcam shots.

I love these idiots in SUVs who think they're invincible. They drive like maniacs, spinning their tires and then end up in the ditch. Yes, I watched one bounce up over the curb and lose it this morning. "HA HA HA HA HA", as I drive by, "moron!" It amazes me how these people forget. Every year, we deal with snow on the roads and the key never changes - take it slow and give yourself plenty of room to stop. ...and yet, they forget. They have no idea what they're doing. Then, you have the dorks in cars like camaros that are rear wheel drive and can't go to save their lives. Sheesh. I love my Lumina. It goes like a champ in the snow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. :D

  3. Oh, I love that little mouse in the post below this one. Yeah, I'm so with you girl. Just because you have a bigger vehicle doesn't mean you're not going to go off the road, you're just going to cause more damage. Dumbasses.

  4. What are you, crazy or something? My little piddies do not go in the snow, thank you very much.

Same story here in the winter. Stupid people forget how to drive. Or worse, they don't realize that it's not the going that makes you spin out, it's the stopping. As in trying to. Cause it's not your brakes that stop you, it's your tires. And if tires no grip, car no stop.

  5. We got our first significant snow of the year the day before Turkey Killin' Day. I did my complaining over on my blog so I'll spare you, but this happens here too.

  7. You know, in millions of years, someone might dig that footprint up and say, "Celti walked here..." Well, that is, as long as you take a cast of it and then set it in, I don't know, granite or something. But THEN they might.

I'm so jealous of your snow. I LOVE snow.

  9. I have a all-wheel drive mini-SUV. Did you at least honk your horn and wave as you went by?
